CARB off-road diesel
training
California Air Resources Board
(CARB) conducted a seminar
on requirements for Large Fleets on February
10. The seminar was not an overview of the
regulation, but rather was intended to assist
large fleets with compliance, including:
■ New reduced horsepower and reduced activity
credits
■ Fleet average calculator
■ 2010 DOORS compliance summary
■ Reduced visibility issues

or large fleet interested in a general course on
the off-road regulation, CARB has planned a
series of training seminars in April.

CARB on-road diesel regulations
CARB staff will hold a series of training seminars to discuss the requirements
for the Truck and Bus regulation
and the
Tractor and Trailer Greenhouse Gas regulations.
Reporting deadline for fleets who want to
take advantage of agricultural vehicle
provisions or fleets with two-engine sweepers with Tier 0 auxiliary
engines is March 31, 2010.
The training will
help fleets use CARB's compliance
tools for compliance planning and reporting. Seminars will be held at various
locations during the day and evening. They will also be webcast February 16, March 2 and March 18.

requirements for the Construction General
Permit. Workshops will be held throughout the
