Deadline Dec. 31st for up to $5000 in scholarships for safety-related courses

A $5,000 Southern California Contractors Association Safety Scholarship Fund has been established by the SCCA Safety Committee.

These funds can be used for a wide variety of classes and course work to improve safety skills of our member companies.

The purpose of the program is to encourage and assist construction safety professionals in the pursuit of their careers.

Applications must be received no later than December 31, 2007. The Scholarship Committee will make the decision on awards, which will be distributed at the annual Scholarship Awards Banquet, March 12.

If you know of deserving construction safety oriented students, people who are either employees or children of any employee or principal of a SCCA member firm residing in the twelve southern counties of California.
