The world turns and last year's funding crisis is this year's contractor shortage...those guys at Caltrans are never happy. As the $.4 billion projected for transportation construction this year starts coming on line the road builders in the state can't hire enough people fast enough to do the work that is on the bid boards. Wow, what a great problem to have after three years of miniscule budgets and slower pay.
