Subject: Caltrans Equipment Rental Rates
Through the efforts of SCCA and EUCA at their joint Caltrans meetings at Caltrans headquarters in Sacramento, a new Rental Rate surcharge has been developed because of the increasing costs of fuel. After we presented our position on the need to update the rental rates, Bob Pipelow, Caltrans Construction Chief, was instrumental in demanding that Caltrans staff have this information ready by October 1st. We are indebted to Mr. Pieplow for the timeliness of getting this done.
